6. Spicy and tangy Bread Upma
Bread upma is another lip smacking morning meal you can have.
Ingredients: Brown bread (cubed) dahi, haldi, jeera, chilli (with slits), curry leaves, ginger, onion, olive oil, coriander and salt.
How to prepare:
- Mix dahi, turmeric and salt and 2 tbsp water.
- Coat bread with the curd mixture.
- Heat the oil in a pan and cumin seeds.
- When they splutter, add green chilies, curry leaves and ginger.
- Add bread mixture and stir till the bread browns.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
