3…Ginger Chutney
This particular chutney is also known as allam pachadi. You will enjoy the pungency of ginger which is rightly balanced with other spices and coconut. You can serve it with tandoori, fritters and other fried sacks like Samosas.
Ingredients:
- Ginger (grated)
- Salt
- Channa dal
- Fenugreek seeds
- Mustard seeds
- Sesame seed oil
- Tamarind juice
- Jaggery
Method:
- Add sesame seed oil in a pan or wok.
- Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, channa dal, grated ginger, let them crackle till golden in colour.
- Later add hing, salt,tamarind juice, chilli powder.
- Saute it, add some jaggery, cook for 5 minutes switch off the flame.
