With three days of music, fun and food on the sunny beaches of Goa, the Oktoberfest is back in India with its third edition. The three-day musical extravaganza will kickstart on Oct 25 at the Baga Grounds in Panaji.
Oktoberfest Goa will see over 30 national and international music acts over the three days, followed by after parties at the end of each festival, said a statement.
It will feature some known personalities from the Indian Electronica genre namely Ivan, Ash Roy, Ma Faiza, Clement, Sanjay Dutta, Ankytrixx, Ajit Pai and Priyanjana. The name of other artists who will join the fest will be announced soon.
The festival also boasts of International cuisine from across the globe with grills and barbeque, as well as over 15 varieties of domestic and International beers.
Talking about the festival, Munna Ruknuddin, director of the organising company Bullseye Entertainment, said: “Oktoberfest Goa 2013 will see a great line-up of Indian as well as International artists. This year the plan is to take the musical experience to a whole new level.”
“Electronic Dance Music has become big in India and Goa is the place to enjoy it first-hand,” added Ruknuddin, who is also the festival director of Oktoberfest Goa.
Since its inception in 2011, Oktoberfest Goa has witnessed two years of Electronic dance music with patrons attending the festival from across the globe in huge numbers.
Along with the three-day festival, pre-parties and a host of after parties will take place in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad too.
