5 Workouts That Sweat The Love Handles Off You!

When you hear the term ‘Love handles’ one may synonym it with ‘delicious’ or ‘something good’ but for most people, it’s one of the difficult places to lose weight. Love handle is basically a slang name given to belly fat and it’s none other than the excessive mass saturated at your hips.

They are deposits of excess body fat that sit around your abdominal area, and most of you can pinch the belly fat from the front, back and sides. It adds to more excruciation when you don’t fit into your favourite dress or a pair of jeans! The risk of storing such fat may increase your risk of developing diabetes or heart disease or even at the risk of obesity.

Thus, in this situation, below are 5 exercises that could help reduce the mass weight and bring you the much desired curves. Work on!

Bicycle Crunch:
This is mainly a floor exercise where it involves lying flat on your back with your hands by your ears. Then lift your legs to a 90-degree angle and then, bring your left knee towards your chest and twist your right elbow to gather it. Repeat this on the other side.

Russian Twist:
While doing a Russian twist, begin in a seated position with knees bended and flat feet. Bend back slightly with a strong straight back and get into a relaxing position, contracting your ab muscles. Then, stretch your arms out in front of you and twist the torso from both sides.

Deadlift:
Basically used for back exercise, deadlift requires one to stay with legs shoulder-width apart and slightly bended knees into a squat position. Then, using a kettleball or weights, bring your weights in front of you with your arms forward and bring them back slowly.

Side Plank Hip Dips:
Begin in a side plank position with the elbows touching the ground. Drop the hips to touch the floor as you inhale and exhale while bringing them back up. For best results, try this for 10 to 15 minutes.

Side Plank:
During this exercise, either using one arm, or your forearm, line up beneath your armpit and load your feet on top of one another. Ideally, the position of your body should be in a ‘T’ shape.
