These 4 Reasons Will Make You Hate Non Veg Food And Quit It Instantly!

For a hard core meat eater, vegetarians are like Martians. And for a hard core vegetarian, meat eaters are that bunch of people who lack morals. The never ending argument which speaks of which diet is better than the other comes to an end, as we tell you which is better and why. After all, nutritionists around the world wouldn’t simply ask you to go on a salad or vegetarian diet to maintain your health and physique, right?

Now, vegetarianism is not all about paneer and potato. It’s about colour, taste, nutrition, spiritualism, religionism and morale. We tell you how.

1. Ingredients

Easily chewable and digestible vegetarian foods are cheaper than non vegetarian foods and can be eaten raw, without the loss of nutrients. For example carrots. Carrots are a rich source of powerful antioxidants, which produces vitamin A in the body, to help your skin glow better. They are also rich in certain enzymes that aid digestion. Now you know what to have, when thinking of reducing weight and obtain a glowing skin. Similarly, a number of other veggies if eaten raw or cooked, helps in maintaining the pH, BMI and other essentail features of your body.

On the other hand, high intake of meat(especially red meat) has been reported to cause an elevated risk of heart disease, as a result of its saturated fat content. Processed meat has high concentration of sodium, which again keeps you at a risk of chronic attack. The charred part of meat, if not cooked properly, increases the risk of cancer.

Now why would you subject yourself to an unintentional suicide by consuming meat?

2. Health

Thanks to an abundance of scientific research that demonstrates the health and environmental benefits of a plant based diet. As a matter of fact, about seventy percent of all diseases, including cancers, are related to non vegetarian diet. That vegetraian diet is easier to digest and more healthy is no news to you. Apart from that, a veg diet reduces the risk of chronic degenrative diseases like obesity, diabetes, blood pressure and certain types of cancer as well.

There has always been this hype about vegetarians being devoid of proteins and that, they’re missing out of life so much. However, contrary to the belief, hard core non vegetarians are devoid of many other minerals which is essential for proper functioning of the body. They generally complain of high blood pressue, liver disorders and stomach ulcers. So no. It’s not the vegetarians who are missing out on life, but the non-vegetarians. And it’s high time you learn, if you haven’t yet.

The urokinase protein in meat can cause kidney stones, liver disorders, stomach ulcers, different types of cancers like colon, prostrate, intestinal etc if not decomposed, which cannot be possible, unless a particluar enzyme is secreted in appropriate proportion. When you decide to eat out or consume food not cooked at home you don’t really know if the meat you’ve had was fresh or not. Bingo! Your stomach gives you a roll over. Sorry to say, but the diahorrea you’re ailing from, is all because of your greed.

Also, contrary to the belief you’ve trusted in since you were born, meat is not the only source of protein. There are few plant proteins that are complete and not harmful unlike that in red or white meat. Why take risk? Eating meat is not going to give you anything other than a slow painful death.

3. Religion

Not only Jainism practices strict vegetarianism based on the principle of non violence, they also avoid unnecessary injury to other living things; the aim being causing no harm to any other living specie in the world. Any act that supports killing or injury to any living organism, add upto your sins. This sect of the society considers every living organism as equal, which is why killing is strictly banned in this religion.

When Hinduism talks of non violence, it speaks of the karmic effects of both human and animal action. The Bhagavata Purana and the traditional book of Hindus, Manusmriti, strictly condemns the slaughter of animals for personal good. Mentioned in Hindu scriptures is the question of religios dutires of humans towards others living species and that of why killing them is a matter of negative karma.

Sikh Gurus, since centuries, have also indicated their preference for a simple vegetarian diet. The holy book of Sikhs, Guru Granth Sahib, mentions that overconsumption of food involves a drain of natural resources of earth and indirectly of life. The tenth guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh, prohibited the Sikhs from the consumption of any ritually or otherwise slaughtered meat.

Few sects of Islam and Christianity, prohibits the consumption of any kind of meat. In Islam, especially the followers of Sufism, following a strictly vegetarian diet is mandatory. Eastern Christianity generally follows veganism, if not vegetarianism. There is a stand in the ethical teaching of Jesus, about mercy towards the weak.

4. Society

There is no shortage of reasons as to why eating non veg is not taken postively in the society. Various debate and controversies have taken place over killing of animals. Where a certain sect of people avoid non veg because of cultural taboo, there are sects which encourages eating of meat, for nutritional, and religious reasons. Vegetarianism is getting popular day by day in developed countries, because of farming, fatser communication and environmental techniques. No wonder vegetarians live longer and vegans like, forever!

If not to tear flesh, what use is your canines you ask? Well, to test it in a solid manner, why not use it to tear apart the stem of a sugarcane? Sweet, juicy taste and stronger teeth you get to have.

So, to live longer, healthier and happier, adapt a vegetarian diet. Non vegetarian diet is not going to help you with anything- results, career, sex or even life. Ladies, do it for your beauty(to make it last for ever) and gentlemen, do it to be called as a “gentle”man.
