Kunal Kapoor is one of the handsome bearded me in Bollywood whose character in Rang De Basanti won accolades. He tied the knot with his long time beau, Naina Bachhan in a close-knit private affair on February, 2015. They chose Seychelles as a venue and it was a lavish beach wedding attended by their families and some of the close friends. Kunal and Naina got engaged in 2014 after dating for two years.
2. Ayush Sharma-Arpita Khan, Hyderabad:
Arpita Khan is an aspiring fashion designer who is also the sister of Salman Khan. On the other hand Ayush Sharma is the son of politician Anil Sharma who is all set to make a debut in Bollywood. Ayush and Arpita met through common friends and fell in love. After dating for an year, they tied the knot in Taj Falaknuma Palace on November 18, 2014.
3. Pulkit Samrat -Shweta Rohira, Goa:
Pulkit’s acting career started with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and gave some significant hits in Bollywood with Fukrey, Jai ho and O teri. Shweta was a freelance journalist who had come to interview Pulkit and the duo fell in love. Shweta is the ‘Rakhi sister’ of Salman Khan. Pulkit and Shweta chose Goa as their wedding destination.
4. Vir Das-Shivani Mathur, Sri Lanka:
Vir Das is a darling to us for his kickass stand-up comedy who tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Shivani Mathur on 19th October, 2014 in a private ceremony held in Sri Lanka. The guest list was as short as 100 people and it was followed by a cool party and a rock concert. Vir Das was so hell-bent on keeping it private that he banned the usage of cell phones during three days of the wedding.
5. Rani Mukherjee-Aditya Chopra, Italy:
Rani was a business partner to Aditya Chopra who was completely in denial of being in a relationship with him. But things became clear as daylight when the duo tied the knot on April 21, 2014 far from the media glare in Italy. The wedding, with later created ripples in the media was a close-knit family affair where only special friends were invited.
6. Susanne Khan-Hrithik Roshan, Bengaluru:
Hrithik Roshan married his long term girlfriend Sussane Khan in early stages of his career breaking millions of hearts. Their marriage took place in Golden Palms Hotel, Bengaluru in both Hindu and Muslim rituals. The couple taking sacred vows was a sight to watch. In their 17 years long marriage they became parents to two sons but are divorced now.
7. Lara Dutta-Mahesh Bhupathi, Goa:
Lara Dutta, actress of Bollywood married the man of her dreams Mahesh Bhupathi, the Tennis maestro of India in Goa’s luxurious Taj Aguada Hotel which overlooks the magnificent Indian Ocean. Lara looked like a real princess in her white all-lace gown and 10 metre long trail tucked up with a diamond tiara while Mahesh looked handsome in a black gentlemanly tuxedo. Anita made her Bollywood debut with the film Kuch Toh Hai and Rohit happens to be an investment banker who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony, a South-Indian style wedding, so to say followed by traditional Haldi, mehendi, sangeet rituals in Goa.
9. Surveen Chawla-Akshay Thakker, Italy:
The Hate Story famed actress married her beau Akshay Thakker in a simple wedding on July 28th, 2015 which took place in an Italian castle located in the northern parts of the country. It had a chapel inside where the duo took their vows.
10. Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma, Italy:
Our dearest Virushka, after dating for quite a long time, married on December 11th, 2017 leaving us all shell-shocked. We came to know about the wedding through Anuskha’s Instagram handle where she shared a picture of the wedding. The venue was in Tuscany, Italy.
