Chances are, he has not even looked at your outfit…and even if he has, he has no clue what you’re crying about. So when he says ‘you don’t look fat’, don’t believe him. Because he doesn’t care about your weight or outfit, especially when he is in the middle of something very interesting. If he shakes his head even without glancing in your direction…well, he is a keeper.
I will be there in 5:
This is your equivalent of ‘I will be ready in 5’. You know you won’t be ready in five minutes and that he won’t reach in five minutes. What he really means is that he wants to be there as soon as possible, but he is so caught up with work that he can’t. Nah..he had left on time, but founf his favourite bar open…need we complete the sentence?
I love you:
Have you noticed that whenever you’re agitated and spitting fire, he comes up to you and says, ‘I love you’? Ah, well. All he is trying to do is save his ass. He may or may not mean those words at that minute, but he definitely doesn’t want to create a scene. Don’t be swayed by his goofy smile or his passionate hug, he is just trying to avoid sleeping on the couch.

He may or may not know what the hell you’re wearing, if your hair is in place or if your shoes go with your dress. He ONLY wants you to buck up and not waste any more time in front of the mirror. Be it your colleagues, friends or siblings, he would never be happy about you hanging out with them. Not because he is possessive or hate their guts, but due to his need to be around you. He would want you to grab a coffee or a drink with him more than others. May be not all guys are like this, but most hate the fact that you’re going to be chilling with somebody else. It’s mostly out of safety concerns. But could also be due to insecurity and fear.
