He never takes the initiative:
If you send him a text asking ‘what’s up?’, he replies. But there’s not one single instance where he takes the efforts to ping/call you first. It’s a clear sign that he is playing you. He doesn’t have the time to talk to you, but doesn’t mind replying to you. Stop wasting time, energy and money on him. MOVE ON.
You’re not his go-to girl:
When shit is hitting the roof, he doesn’t come crying to you. You’re the last person he thinks of when he is in trouble. You may be more than willing to help him out, but he doesn’t really care about your generosity. Yep, he isn’t into you. Never was, never will be.
Never drunk-dials you:
As cliched as this sounds, a guy who drunk-dials you…does have some feelings for you. However shallow and crazy they may be. But if he doesn’t fancy you one bit, he will never make this rookie mistake of calling you up after doing shots with his friends. That post-alcohol madness is reserved for the special someone who makes his heart go bonkers.
Politically correct:
If he is always at his best behaviour in front you, he is so not into you. While being politically correct in the initial days of courting is a good idea. It doesn’t hold true for always. He needs to make fun of himself, be goofy and crazy with you if he wishes to spend the rest of his life with you. Because, let’s face it, you can be prim and proper with strangers, not with your loved ones. Right?
Acts protective:
He wants to know if you’ve reached home safely, if you have got the bus, if you’re taking meds on time and so on. This protective streak can not be faked at all. He is definitely into you and either doesn’t know it or pretends to be unaware of his feelings.
