Drop Ishant Sharma!
After the 1st and the 2nd game, but even the third! What was Mahi thinking when he first selected Ishant Sharma in the 3rd ODI and nonetheless giving him the 48th over. Surely, Ishant has lost his motivation and it’s time, youngster Jaidev Unadkat made his way into the team.
Pick Amit Mishra over R Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin has definitely had two contrasting series against the Aussies. While he bamboozled them in the Tests,the Aussies seemed to take him to the cleaners in the ODIs. Clearly, lost touch and Amit Mishra needs a game.
Suresh Raina needs a day off!
No doubt MSD’s plans backfires at times and this is the best example. Keeping 2015 World Cup in mind, Raina was picked as a perfect number four batsman, but in the current situation, he hasn’t been playing as one. Surely, coach Duncan Fletcher and Dhoni need to have a word with him and give him a breather.

Currently occupying the number 5 slot in the middle-order, MSD needs to take a gamble and slot Yuvraj instead of Raina or any other batsman.
