- India have won 16 ODIs when Kohli has recorded a hundred. His record in Indian wins is 3708 runs at an average of 69.96 in 73 matches, including 16 centuries and 15 fifties.
- In successful chases, Kohli averages 86.53 – his tally being 2596 in 46 matches, including 11 centuries and 12 fifties.
- Kohli is the first player to amass 1000 runs in the last three calendar years in ODIs i.e. 1381 in 2011, 1026 in 2012 and 1033 in 2013.
- Kohli is averaging 60.80 vs Australia in ODIs – his tally being 608 in 12 innings, including 3 hundreds and 2 fifties.
- Kohli is now the first batsman to record 5 successive innings of fifty-plus twice in ODIs. He had first achieved the feat in 2012.
- Kohli is the only batsman to manage 4000 runs in ODIs since January 2010 – his aggregate being 4435 (ave.53.43) in 103 matches, including 16 centuries and 23 fifties.
