On Sunday Mahendra Singh Dhoni made his first T20 appearance in front of his home crowd in Ranchi by sporting a Mohawk.
Any Indian fan might remember the 2011 WC post celebrations where MS Dhoni poses with the trophy and sports a shaved head! Also, who could forget that henna-coloured hairdo in 2004 that caught the eye of the then-Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf’s fancy? In 2007, after India won the inaugural ICC Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa, Dhoni cropped his hair short!
And on Sunday, India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni made his first T20 appearance in front of his home crowd in Ranchi by sporting a Mohawk. He was playing in CSK’s opening match of the 2013 Champions League Twenty20.
More than the CSK victory, it was Dhoni’s ‘new hairdo’ that caught the attention of everybody. Some of them took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to give their opinion on Dhoni’s ‘mohawk’.
