So who could take the mantle of lighting up the Finals? Here is our pick:
Virat Kohli
The Indian run-machine is taking no for an answer. After a sizzling performance in the semi-final against the South African’s, Virat Kohli will look to add more to his batting prowess when he lines up against the Sri Lankans. Lasith Malinga and co. will know his strengths and weaknesses but Kohli will look to avert those efficiencies.
Suresh Raina
If India are in dire straits, do not worry, Suresh Raina will come handy. The southpaw has been in terrific form since his return to the team and would like to remind the selectors as to why he deserves the Indian cap. Handy with the bat, MS Dhoni can even throw the ball at Raina, who can chip a wicket or two with his off-breaks.

Who could have thought that Amit Mishra will prove handy in this T20 World Cup. The Delhi spinner, who has 9 wickets at helm in the tourney so far, could be the ‘trump card’ for MS Dhoni going into the T20 Final.
Kusal Perera
The opening batsman has few fifties in this World Cup so far and provides a steady start to his side. Kusal Perera has 120 runs in the 5 matches played so far but he could improve on those figures when the two sides meet in the Finals on Sunday.
Lasith Malinga
He may not be amongst the wickets in the T20 World Cup so far but Lasith Malinga remains a key threat to India going into the Finals. His depth bowling could be key and even though Indian batsmen know a thing about Malinga, the latter still remains one of the vital cogs in the Sri Lankan bowling department.
Kumara Sangakkara
This could be it – in his final T20 appearance, Kumara Sangakkara can take centre stage and bid adieu to the 20-over format with a special inning. The southpaw, who also keeps wickets, could hand some experience to the young Sri Lankan players in how to go about the game.
