Strengths:
Led under the skillful leadership of Rahul Dravid, Rajasthan Royals have the onus of having Aussie all-rounder Shane Watson in their ranks. The explosive batsman is a threat to any opposition bowler and if he gets going, Royals will hold the upper hand. Also the likes of Brad Hodge and Stuart Binny can send the ball out of the park. The bowling department includes Shaun Tait, James Faulkner and Kevon Cooper, who have the ability to pick wickets at regular intervals.
Weakness:
The controversy of spot-fixing that have plagued the team so far during the IPL might have an effect on the players mentally. Also, Vikramjeet Malik, Sanju Samson and Ashok Menaria lack international cricket experience. The squad does not have a world-class spinner amongst their ranks and this might worry Rahul Dravid.
Player to watch out for:
Sanju Samson will be Rajasthan Royals’ surprise package in this tournament. Former U-19 star had a good outing in the IPL 2013 and will be looking to add a couple more feats in his bag.

Royals best bet would be atleast reaching the semis. With tough teams clubbed in the group, Dravid and co. will find it harder to reach the finals
