Eligibility
The very first thing you ought to know before you apply for NTSE is that only Indian nationals are eligible to take the test. The minimum requirement to appear in the test is That you should have appeared or appearing in the upcoming standard 10th boards. Pattern of the exam
NTSE is held in two stages. They are MAT(Mental Ability Test) and SAT(Scholastic Ability Test), respectively. MAT tests your data interpretation related skills, and you’re required to complete ninety questions in forty five minutes. On the other hand, SAT tests your language and aptitude skills. Ninety questions from all theoretical subjects like, history, geography, political science, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics etc are to be answered.

Once, you qualify all the levels of the exam, you are awarded with scholarships to continue your education in the field of science and social sciences, until you acquire a doctorate.
