The colour:
Red may be the hottest colour this season, too much of it is ruining the impact. The GOW girl has overdone the tone, by choosing even her lipstick in the same blood rood shade. Eww. Either her stylist is a 12-year-old who loves to play match-match or was so hungover that did not see what colour she was picking for the lips.
Unflattering bust:
The bust of the anarkali is one of the most unflattering cuts to ever have come out. It’s wobbly fit and forced conical cut are completely spoiling the effect. With her make-up being so fierce, she should have opted for mega-sleeves and not full-sleeves.
Hairdo:
We know she is going for a bit of drama, what with flowers in her hair and sleek hair. But considering how ‘put-together’ her whole look is, a messier and more casual side-braid would have elevated the look to another level. This twisted side-swept hair is making her look like a character from a costume drama.
Accessories:
Chunky statement earrings look great if you can carry them off. Not when they stand out like a sore thumb. The silver-white detailing on her earrings is an awkward choice for a dress that is so dramatic and monotonic. She could have opted for a pair of studs and let her flower take the centre stage. Alas!
Shoes:
Let’s not even get started on her black towering heels. What were you thinking, Ms Chadda?! How on earth did you pair this bold pair with your overflowing anarkali? Wouldn’t a dainty gold or silver pair made more sense? It sure would have.
