The current toasts of Bollywood, Sona and Ilena, were spotted in dotted dresses at a recent event. While both rocked their respective outfits, one of them absolutely rocked it out of the park. As you unwind on a lazy Sunday evening, we tell you which actress did complete justice to her dotted dress. Was it Sona or Ileana? Read on:
The dress:
polka dots never really go out fashion. There’s something very sexy about these and that’s exactly what works for these girls. While Sona cinches the waist with a white belt, Ileana lets the dress speak for itself. We do like the former’s addition as it makes the look more ‘put-together’. We also have a slight issue with Ileana’s dress’ length. It should have been a tad shorter, because it’s looking more like matronly outfit than a sexy Sunday brunch sort of affair. Call us biased, but w love our polkas to be big and bold, much like Sonakshi’s. They are somehow more bohemian and flirty than tiny dots. Do you agree with us? Clearly, this round belongs to the Dabangg heroine.
Make-up and hair:
Both the ladies have done up their faces and hair in flawless fashion. But if we had to pick a favourite, we would naturally opt for Sonakshi, because of the lippie’s shade. The hot pink works wonders for her dusky skin, and let’s not forget that’s it’s the ideal summer shade. Ilean’s make-up and hair are great too, but her dark lips are too fierce, making her look older than she is. Both of them have gone the classy soft waves route, which is a great thing. Considering how busy their outfits already is. We are going to give this one to Sona too. Agree?
Accessories:
Kudos to these ladies for skipping those loud and jarring accessories and opting for tiny pair of studs instead. We like, we like! Ileana’s earrings are classier, thanks to her royals lips and elegant nail colour, while Sona keeps her earrings casual yet trendy. We are calling this one a tie as both the lpretty ladies have done justice to their respective outfits by pairing their earrings well.
Shoes:
This is a no-brainer, actually. Ilean’s strappy heels have no place here. None whatsoever. Apart from being ugly, they are taking the elegance away from her beautiful dress. Such a shame, really. Sona, on the other hand, picks sexy pair that may be a bit mathcy-matchy, but goes perfectly with her outfit. This round is again going to Sonakshi.
