Encouraging the local weaves of Manipur Handlooms, designer Krishna Mehta’s collection saw the garments being present with a royal edge. Handwoven traditional and tribal weaves were seen in the hues of cobalt, crimson, red, fuchsia, orange and purple.
The silhouettes were long with jackets, skirted dresses, pants, flared tunics and the yard sari, while the fabric ranged from silk, wool and tweed with subtle layering.
