Aditi Rao Hydari: HIT
We wish we could give this look a ‘big hit’ tag! Absolutely love the cobalt blue Zara on her. The shiny, straight hair, the minimal make-up, statement watch and two-toned heels are what make this outfit a killer one. Her chic pose is helping her cause too! There’s nothing we would change about this look. Do you guys dig it as much as we do?
Vidya Balan: Miss
Ms Balan is forever on our list of ‘misses’, thanks to her poor sartorial choices. Despite the cheery shade of her maxi dress, the fall and fit are so off that it’s making us cringe. When will she let go of the big-hair-stacked-up-bangles look? It’s a look she has been sporting for a long time now and we are starting to feel rather meh about it all. If this wasn’t enough, she ruins the cheery shade by pairing it with chunky white wedges. Oh.My.God!
Madhoo: Miss
She has been missing from the fashion scene for a while now. And when we spotted her in a colourblock Manish Malhotra, we really did not feel her kurta. Did you? The colours are just not working for her and her highlighted hair is overshadowing the outfit. Wish she had a high pony or a bun to offset the bold prints. Also, she should throw her necklace away. NOW.
Ileana D’Cruz: Hit
The petite D’Cruz could have been overwhelmed by the volume of this black and white Dior gown, but she pulls it off, and how! What’s really working for the pretty lady is the elegant updo that’s not taking the attention away from the gown. Her tiny earrings and shiny lips are perfect too. May be a bit more colour would have elevated the look. But not a deal breaker for us. What about you guys?
Kareena Kapoor-Khan: Hit
The lady rarely gets it wrong…much less in her favourite Anand Kabra. The black bejewelled kurta-pyjama combo, complimented by sleek hairdo and statement necklace is a winner all the way. We do love how she has matched the designs on the sleeves to her necklace without going overboard. Her blush make-up and smoky eyes are bang on too. Way to go, Ms Khan!
We put so much pressure on these lovely ladies to turn up in their finest outfits that we forget that they are humans too. But what to do, as long as they are in public, their every move will be scrutinized and written about. Small price to pay for big fame?
