Nothing about this Nishka Lulla separates works for her, not even the pop of red lips. It’s time she fired her stylist and took a long vacation to leave this debacle behind. Here’s analysing her fashion ‘oops’ moment. Read on:
Make-up and hair:
We understand how important a pop of red is to an all-white outfit, but this shade is just not working for her. The red is too stark against the ghostly make-up and hair and looks like it was painted on at the last minute because, well, that’s the text book approach to brighten an outfit. It’s one of the worst hairstyles we have seen in recent times and we do hope that nobody, nobody repeats this in public. A simple high pony would have salvaged this look as the curls are too dramatic against the bright lips. Looks like she was getting ready to play the lead in a school play, and changed her mind at the last minute.
The outfit:
Separates are a huge with Bollywood babes and Ms Bhaskar is no exception. But THIS? It’s definitely one of the worst to be showcased in public.The silver-ish top with an awkward bodice and the high-waisted pants are straight out of a bad 70s movie. We are just not fans of the shirt that seems to be made of silver foil. But what’s adding insult to injury is her undergarment that can been seen via her semi-sheer shirt. The pants are neither attractively cut or sexily fit, they look like they were borrowed from somebody who was too happy to get rid of them.
The geeky glasses:
Yes, yes, they are a rage. But pairing such an unattractive frame with a disastrous outfit is simply not done. She is not only looking five years older, but her bright lips are looking even more horrible due to the bad frame and terrible eye make-up. The rule when wearing glasses is to play up one element, and not paint your face like a clown. She should have skipped the glasses at home or worn contacts. Because it’s , well, ugly.
The shoes:
Our eyes are hurting right now, because of this hideous pair of shoes. Why pair such a fierce pair with an already bold outfit and red lips? The black is just not complimenting any part of the outfit. Wouldn’t something that didn’t scream ‘horrible’ would have been a better bet? It’s nightmarish to even think that she stepped out of her house in those shoes and outfit and held a smile throughout the evening. Kudos to her for being such a sport. But it’s such a pity, considering what a fantastic actress she is!
The pose:
What’s really undoing it for the babe is her pose. Even she seems unsure about how to play up her outfit. The pursed lips-meets-casual-hands-in-pockets’ is a look that nervous newcomers resort to. Not those who have had a brilliant run at the BO. May be she forgot to brush…why else would she not smile and make the pose a bearable one?
We were quite sad to feature Swara on this list as she happens to be one of our favourite actresses. We do hope that she would be better dressed the next time and give us no complains in the fashion department.
