Change Your Look Before a New Job

You already have influenced the recruiters and got the new job.

Now there are new people to interact with, new atmosphere to work in. You would have to influence the people around you with your charming personality.

Every company looks at an individual in a different manner and approach. So study the company once you’re done with the interview to know the working environment, see the clothes people wear, study their attitude and you would be up and running.

We have a few suggestions to get you started.

DRESSCODE
Every organisation has its own working culture.It’s very important to learn about dress code. Before you join, get the
information whether the company has any dress code.On first day, if show up in black trouser and white shirt and all others are in Jeans and Tees…you will be surely feel uncomfortable.

WARDROBE
Change your wardrobe before you walk into your new company. Every company works and functions differently so a wardrobe change would be your first help. It would ensure better physical appearance. Dress according to your company’s standards to ensure you stand amongst your colleagues and you’re not a part of their jokes. New job, new clothes equals to better personality!

HAIR
Your hair plays an important role in your physical appearance and enhances your overall personality. No company would like their employees come for a fashion parade by playing with their hair or walking around the office with untidy hair. So it’s time you too stay away from mess and visit your new office with neatly combed hair, preferably tied (for girls) and well combed (for boys)! You wouldn’t want your hair to be all over the place right?

ACCESSORIES
So if you’re feeling too corporate with your look or feeling too plain, accessorize your look with minimum accessories like chains, watches, earrings, rings, etc to complete the look. Invest in some decent looking scarf’s but most important a decent bag! Keep your accessories minimum as you won’t want to be found playing with your accessories than working.

SHOES
This is the most important accessory to complete your look. Shoes speak millions about your overall personality. Don’t think shoes are worn on the feet and won’t be noticed! They are actually the first accessory captured when seen for the first time.  Keep your shoes neat and clean to silently speak about your personal hygiene. So wear the right shoes to stand up tall.

GLASSES
If you are wearing glasses, your glasses are the second accessory that grabs attention.  Right frame can change your look. Have a look at frames that are in Vogue. It will add an interest to your personality. Upgrade them to be the next cool chick or hot specky guy at work! May some eyes roll with your persona and you’ll do just fine.

Wear the right set of clothes, carry the right attitude and look presentable. It will speak about your individual personality.

Don’t change your look too much but a little bit of everything is way to go!

Make sure that outside appearance is a window for someone to get into you. Inside appearance is what will keep someone attracted towards you. Your positive approach and helpful nature will win over the hearts of everyone.
