Ever held an infant in your arms? Did not you feel like an infant for all that moment? Did you not wish for a moment that you could go back to the days when you were all care free, stress free and could sleep whenever you felt like?
Ever held an infant in your arms?
Did not you feel like an infant for all that moment?
Did you not wish for a moment that you could go back to the days when you were all care free, stress free and could sleep whenever you felt like?
Well, I have had a number of experiences holding infants (not mine), and I simply love the feeling.
We see a few career lessons that we learn from infants and implement in our life.
1. Meet and Smile
The smile you receive on meeting a kid is just overwhelming and makes you feel elated. A smile costs nothing. Rather, it will make people form an impression of you as a nice and gracious person.
2. Tight grip
Their determination is much more than ours. They decide and follow and does not matter how many bruises and bumps they get in the procedure, they never give up. All you need to learn is to have a firm determination and not give up on your plans and dreams easily.
3. Failing is no big deal
Ever noticed a kid who’s learning to walk? The word failure, ideologically, does not exist in their dictionary. Talking about adults, well, it has been said time and again that failure is the key to success, and unless you fail, success won’t taste as sweet as it would otherwise.
4. You’re the boss
There are times when parents try to stop the kid from doing something. What’s interesting is that the kid does it anyway and it’s not in a disobedient manner, but in a way which proves how much it wants to explore about life and the surroundings.
5. There’s a lot to life
Children find joys in little things. Learn to take delight in small things life has to offer. What we adults fail to realize is that these little things make life magical.
6. Learn from everything and everyone
Children don’t care about what people think of them. They do things which we think are silly, and their process of learning is never fettered, irrespective of their successes and failures.
7. Admiring your achievements
Whenever you enter a kid’s room, and look at the trophies or anything which they won in a competition, you feel their chests swelling with pride. Admiring your achievement makes you feel good about yourself.
8. Participate
You have a whole to-do list for the week and perhaps for the year. Look at the kid next to you. It lives in the moment and does not worry about what has life planned for it. Let go of all your worries and pursue your passion.
9. Surprises
Life is all about surprises. For an infant, the world is a new place end everything about the world is new and magical. Future is not to be thought about. Live in the present and do what you love doing. Pursue your dream.
10. Stress free
Stress btrings unhappiness and worries kill happy moments of life. It seems that infants know it and doesn’t care and keep them away.
The process of growing never stops.
While it is generally conceived that parents teach children about how things work in this world, it cannot be denied that children teach parents and elders the way of leading a happy life, which they’ve probably left out far behind.
