There is good news for all you bike lovers. The wait is finally over. Suzuka Motorcycles have finally made it to the Indian market. And let me add, they are a bunch of monsters.
The company Suzuka Racing Motorcycles Co. was set up in the year 2000 and five years down the line the bike manufacturing firm started producing Dirt/off-road Motocross and ATV motorcycles.
Now the Suzuka Racing Motorcycles aims to capture the Indian motorcycle market with their three new models from their line of Sport Motocross model. All the three motorbikes include pair of 250 and 223s, all of them are meant for off-road and are competition driven; this basically means bike lovers cannot use them on the roads. However sad it might sound, but that is the way it is with these bikes. These are strong little beasts and are suitable for races or competitions.
Coming back to the bikes, let us see what exactly you can expect from the manufacturer’s den. The first from the series is the SRM 250 AC 2V which is powered by a 223cc single cylinder, air cooled engine producing strong power of 16.3 PS at 7,000 rpm and a highest torque of 17.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine is the main draw for this bike, and it is paired with a 5 speed transmission. The compression ratio of this little monster is 9.3-9.9 and the bore and stroke is 65.5 x 62.2. Since it is dirt bike, the quality of the tyre matters a lot. This bike comes with front tyre of 80/100-21 accompanied by an even stronger rear tyre of 110/90-18. Besides, a single front and rear disc with ABS is pretty standard. The bike has a fuel tank of 6 liters. The main thing, apart from all features, that a bikers looks for in a sports bike is the weight. And all Suzuka Motorcycles are easy to handle in that sense. The SRM250 AC 2V weighs 115.5 kg and has a ground clearance of 300 mm. this bike has the liquid cooled version of 223 cc motor. However, it gives out same torque and power. And it can hit up to a maximum speed of 120 km/hr.
The second one is the SRM250 WC 2V. This bike is more or less similar to the previous one (SRM 250 AC 2V) in terms of specifications and features. However, the only major difference between the two is the engine. While the SRM 250 AC 2V has an air-cooled engine, the SRM250 WC 2V comes with liquid-cooled engine. This bike too can hit up to a maximum speed of 120 km/hr.
The third bike of the group, SRM250, is the most powerful of the lot. While this bike is similar to the previous two bikes mechanically and dimensionally, but it gets its power from a larger 250.1cc four valve. It has a liquid-cooled engine that produces power of 22.4 PS at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 20 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Out of the three Suzuka Motorcycles, the SRM250 can hit a maximum speed of 135 km/hr and weigh 116.5 kg.
Suzuka Racing Bike Price: The prices for all the three bikes range from 3 lakh to 4 lakh. But sadly you won’t be able to ride these on the city roads because they are made to hit the race circuits.
