This latest pillion from the Honda stable is especially designed for the Indian market as a commuter bike. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has also expanded its Dream series by launching this bike. This new motorbike in India is targeted for the entry level commuters. Honda, a Japan based company, states that the new bike is a ‘basic sub-segment of 100/1100cc bikes’ and includes 23 per cent of the total market share.
Some Cool Features of Honda CD 110 Dream
Since the new bike is meant for the entry level commuters, there are certain features that have been especially taken care of. For instance, fuel efficiency is of utmost importance for such motorbikes.
According to the company, the new motorcycle is packed with Honda Eco Technology. Thus, it has a fuel efficiency of 74kmpl based as per their testing and an ICAT mileage figure of 83kmpl. In addition the powerplant of the new bike constitutes 110cc, air-cooled mill pumps out 8.3PS at 7,500rpm and torque rating stands at 8.6Nm at 5,500rpm.
These figures will easily remind the users of the earlier Honda models, like Dream Yuga and Neo under the same series.
Where Is Honda CD 110 Different From Its Predecessors?
So how does this new pillion differ from its predecessors? The technology and specifications seem similar. But the new Honda CD 110 Dream differs from the other Dream series models in its design.
One look at this new bike will remind you of the Dream Neo but this new one as restyled graphics. The engine and alloys sport a silver finish instead of a black one that was found in the earlier Dream series bikes. Since Honda developed this bike keeping in mind the fundamental needs of the commuters, it has paid special attention to stability and wheelbase. That is the reason why the new Honda CD 110 Dream is packed with ground clearance of 179mm, wheelbase of 1258mm to ensure better stability and a long seat for comfort. Other features of this bike are free battery maintenance, tubeless tyres and viscous air filter.

You can choose from 3 varieties of colors- Black with Red stripe, Black with Blue Stripe and Black with Grey stripe. And finally we come to the price. This new motorbike from the Honda stable has been priced at something between Rs 40,100 – 42,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). If you compare it with Dream Neo, the price is lesser.
The bookings for the new bike have started and deliveries are to start from middle of July.
