Association of Sachin Tendulkar with BMW X5began in the year 2002, when India’s superstar cricketer started using the first generation X5. Sachin says that he has had a wonderful experience with the vehicle.
At the launch, Philipp von Sahr, President of the BMW Group India, said, “This is the eighth model we will produce at our Chennai plant. The third-generation BMW X5 sees BMW once again setting the benchmark for powerful design, interior spaciousness, and luxury, versatility, driving pleasure, efficiency, and innovative equipment features.”
The German car manufacturer has festooned its all-new product with enticing features, including novel equipment and additional space for enhanced comfort. The BMW Group India President also announced that the all-new BMW model would hit the Indian Auto Market next month. The 38 authorized dealers of BMW in India would exclusively sell the BMW X5.
Available in 6 mesmerizing colors, including Glacier Silver, Imperial Blue, Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Sparkling Brown, and Space Grey, this 3 litre-diesel engine car sports alluring BMW X5 exteriors.
Just like its siblings, the car would don the regular BMW features, including Brake & Cornering Brake Control, Dynamic Traction & Stability Control, Active Cruise Control, Hill Descent, Auto Differentia, Bluetooth, USB device, and more.
The other BMW X5 features include Adaptive Suspension, 8-Speed Transmission, Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, a six-cylinder 3 litre engine mustering 258 BHP & a torque of 560 Nm producing a top speed of 230 km/hr, and more. It takes a mere 6.9 seconds for the car to scoot from 0 to 100 km/hr.
The BMW X5 xDrive30d flaunts appealing BMW X5 Interiors too, including ebullient upholstery available in 6 tempting shades – Black, Ivory White, Terra, Mocha, and Canberra Beige.
The automobile giant uses BMW ConnectedDrive assist features, including Park Distance Control (PDC) with reverse camera, iDrive (on-board Driver Information System) flaunting touch controller & handwriting recognition features, and BMW Navigation Professional (integrated Global Positioning System – GPS) with 26 cm color display & 3D maps.
