Hostel life is fun and more fun is added when the young students sprinkle some pranky mischief on it.

Playing pranks on the mates is one of the most pleasurable things. No college student has ever gone through the college or hostel years without being tricked or tricking others.

But one must remember that pranks are meant to be fun; you shouldn’t take part in any pranks that will harm a person or cause property damage.

Here are 5 super awesome pranks that you must try on your hostel mates:

1. Make Them Go Full Monty

This prank works best in the hostel with combined bathrooms at the end of the corridor. When one of your roommates heads for the shower, sneak in after them and take away all the towels or bathrobes they had hung on the side wall. How far will they will go to make it back to the room, that to Full Monty? Make sure to stick close with their clothes handy, by in case it starts to cause a trouble for them. 

2. Body Grafitti After Partying

A booze party night is the perfect night for this prank. Your hostel mate who is the first one to pass out after the boozing fun will become the target. When is completely out,  grab a pack of markers and draw whatever you want to on your friend. Give him a new moustache, write embarrassing messages on his body, or wherever else the inspiration (and beer) takes you. You can be a little more daring and use a red lipstick to write a seductive message on a guy’s stomach or cover him with kiss prints! If you are technologically equipped, you can make this prank really interesting. Try them on your online freak friends. For a quick one, you can sign your roommate up for email newsletters on embarrassing topics by putting their email id in the subscribers list. You can ask for their laptop to complete a task, spend some time on their computer and hide their porn folder where they cannot find it. Let them go crazy looking for it until they agree to some of your condition and you tell them where it is. A great part of these pranks is that the changes are easily fixed, for when you want a moment of shock without doing any real damage.

4. Haunted Room Prank

When one of your hostel mates leaves the hostel for the day, rearrange his room. Move all the furniture on opposite sides, hang the posters on different walls, and change everything that is possible. For added fun, make sure everyone else on the hostel is a part of the joke. They will help you by acting like they don’t see anything is wrong with the room, when the victim returns. Victim will keep insisting that he sees the differences, then you have to tell him that probably his room has been haunted by the ghosts and enjoy the look on his face. This prank requires some planning and assistance from like-minded individuals, but it’s another good prank for giving the victim a harmless surprise.

5. Their Crush Is Texting

This can be targeted on someone who is having a crush at one of the classmates. Ask for their mobile phone on the pretext of making a call. Quickly put the name of their crush on your saved number in their phone. After an hour or so, start sending lovey dovey texts from your own number to your friend. They will think that their crush is sending those texts expressing the love. Of course they will go mad for those funny little moments, till you disclose the truth to them with a mischievous smile.
