On weekend, Indians were shock and in dismay when they found out that porn sites were unable to access. Soon this topic was a hot potato on Internet.
According to media reports, Internet Service providers were notified to block more than 800-900 pornographic sites. Still government has not officially declared on porn but many are suspecting to have overall ban as authorities have sneakily brought down these websites.
This action is in the wake of dissemination of anti-social activities which were basically from these porn sites.As per instructions from court, full-fledged reviewing of such sites is done by communication ministry.
Many users and celebs took to twitter to voice their opinions on the same. Many vented out their outrage on Reddit India. A thread on “ Are porn sites getting blocked?” were jump started on Reddit and hashtag #PornBan was among the trending hashtags on other social media sites.Many alleged the ruling party and their conservative mindsets has led to this action.

The questions many people have raised that- Can India ban porn completely? According to the statistics provided by one of the famous porn sites declared that Indians are among the most “prolific consumers”.
