If the news is true I wonder what will RK bring to the table, what will he do that Salman hasn’t done before? Will he be able to step into Sallu bhai’s goofy shoes or he will fall flat on his face? Even though there’s practically a year to go for the next season to start, speculations have started to hover in the air already. While some TV buffs are just accepting the news with an air of optimism, there are also die-hard gossip mongers who can’t stop sympathizing with Khan bhai. Spicy headlines like ‘After Katrina, Ranbir steals Bigg Boss from Salman’ are doing the rounds of the entertainment world.
If I really had to get down to analyzing mode, I think Ranbir will be this ‘cool and casual’ host. While Salman used to directly reprimand the contestants, I think the Kapoor kid will keep it light and funny with his subtle hints if any contestant is being all bitchy or wicked.
And of course the Kapoor kid is going to flirt around unabashedly. While Sallu used to go scarlett at even the mention of Elli Avram, Ranbir on the other hand, I can imagine will make the babes go all red with his flirtatious remarks.
It’s going to be all young and peppy if the RK kid comes on board. And if that happens, trust the makers to change the tagline of the show to ‘get ready to be scandalized’ – Ranbir is quite capable of doing that…
