It seems the actor has been approached by Anees Bazmee for Welcome Back. Ahuja will be seen in an out-and-out bad boy avatar in the film. He will be flaunting tattoos and a very brat like attitude. The actor has never been a part of a comedy film before. He won’t just be getting a second chance to be at the threshold of Bollywood again but will also get to experiment with a different genre altogether. Shiney has always been associated with serious movies like Life in a Metro and Hazaaron Khwaishon Aisi. Welcome Back will be quite a breath of fresh air for the actor.
But the question remains, will people accept him as an actor anymore, even though he is a decent performer? Will it be easy for people to overlook that it’s a rapist on the loose out there, trying to entertain us on the big screen, getting away scot free, hogging all the lime light and earning big bucks when he should had clearly been rotting in jail.
Well, we will get to know that only after the film hits the screens. If people welcome him by throwing eggs on his face or greet him with garlands, the box office numbers will say it all.
