Recently on Koffee with Karan, when Johar asked her, in his usual curious style, “People are saying Alia is a lot like you, what do you think?” To this Bebo said in a blunt tone, “why does she want to be me, she should be herself.”
Again recently she was asked that what does she feel about that streak of snooty Bebo-ness in Ms Bhatt? Kareena could have chosen a polite answer, but she instead snapped back, “I don’t even have the time to follow my own work, from where will I have the time to observe Alia.”
While any other actor in her place would be in seventh heaven at the thought of a new actor taking some serious inspiration from them, Kareena I guess is too hoity-toity to be happy about these insignificant things.
In that case from next time onwards any newcomer should think twice before trying to emulate the Nawabi begum. Kareena loves to think there’s no one like her, she’s the only one out there. Well, in that case we won’t ruthlessly burst the bubble she’s living in. What say readers?
