They made a friendly ‘producer-actor’ Jodi, breaking into a fit of laughter every now and then over Kapil’s jokes. But we hear the inside story is something else. The two women have some major issues with each other. It seems Ekta has vowed that she doesn’t want to work with Leone ever in the future again. It’s usually Kapoor who’s known for being an absolute pain in the neck, and very rarely you hear someone taking ‘panga’ with the Kapoor chick; but looks like there is finally someone to give Ekta a bitter dose of her own medicine.
Well, I’ll tell you what the bone of contention between the two was. Leone has wanted to shed the image of a sexy seductress and be taken seriously as an actor. Hence she has been trying to stick to her ‘image revamping’ strategy…but in vain people seem to be turning a deaf ear and a blind eye to what she desires. Ekta Kapoor for instance, hasn’t been giving much importance to the babe’s requests. Apparently Sunny had been incessantly asking the hot-shot producer to tone her sexy scenes in Ragini MMS 2 down and not make her do certain hot scenes, but Ms K didn’t budge. Also during the promotions, Leone wished she was portrayed as an actor rather than a hot baby doll. Ekta, on the other hand is claiming that Sunny is an extremely difficult person to work with. It seems there were times when Leone would come to the shoot and suddenly announce she didn’t want to do certain scenes. Now that attitude has irked Ms Kapoor big time, and I doubt after all this if Sunny will be banned for good from Ekta’s films.
Whatever the deal is, I think Sunny should be given a chance to prove herself. The industry can be really harsh at times, stereotyping practically everyone who enters this place; not surprised Leone is receiving the same grand treatment.
Sunny should know by now that proving her acting abilities is not going to be cakewalk like performing a strip dance in front of the camera…Time to pull up those hot stockings honey!
