So in one of the episodes of Koffee with Karan, Johar was lobbing questions at Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Karan has always been protective about these three since SOTY was his film and he always seems to get into this ‘father figure’ avatar whenever he’s around these young ‘new kids on the block.’
But on the show he was ruthless, testing their IQ, wondering if these kids even read anything else apart from filmi scripts. ‘Who’s the president of India?’ KJo asked in his usual confident tone. Alia muttered SushilKumar Shinde, Varun fumbled a bit and said Manmohan Singh. It’s just Sidharth who got the answer absolutely right. Karan burst into peals of laughter after hearing the random replies.
Well, this is one of the reasons why Varun and Alia should not dare to walk into a show like KBC. Imagine making a boo-boo in front of someone like Amitabh Bachchan, and the whole world of course. Guess the two should stick to running around the trees and singing romantic songs…
