The actor may not be the best grooving star, but whenever he appears on stage, he seems to manage brilliantly with his ‘thoda-bahut’ star-like booty-shaking. And no one cares about his dancing really, people watch him just to get a whiff of his hero-like demeanour.
So when Sallu confessed recently on a reality show that he has made a boo-boo on stage in the past, it was a li’l hard to digest. Salman made an appearance on Nach Baliye to promote his new film Jai Ho. While all the contestants managed to put on a great show, Kiku and Priyanka kinda messd it up as the latter forgot her steps. The judges of course teased her by saying that it’s the Salman effect, girls usually forget everything when they see him. The Jai Ho actor made sure even he doles out some precious words of motivation and cheer the disheartened Priyanka up.
He narrated an incident where he had to perform on stage and Kumar Gaurav was the chief guest. The moment he heard that, he practically got an anxiety attack. And all he did on stage was pull of his dance act just by performing two steps continuously, back to back which he had learnt by watching Javed Jaffrey on screen. The second time he stood like a mannequin on stage was when he had to perform on a title song of Maine Pyar Kiya and the huge audience almost made him faint out of nervousness.
Well, that’s an amusing story Mr Khan!
