The babe has started shooting for The Villain opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Finally her weeks of practice and homework is being put into good use. The babe has been learning to ride a bike for this film, and she is doing just that in the first look shot, with Sidh riding pillion behind. Mohit Suri is the director of the film, and looks like after the success of Aashiqui 2, the filmmaker considers the Kapoor kid as somewhat of a lucky charm.
Here’s why I think there’s something about Shraddha Kapoor. Pair her up with anybody and she lends this refreshing flavour to the chemistry between her and the hero. Sidharth and Shraddha, if you notice, look quite cool together, travelling on their mean machine, on the streets of Goa. It seems most portions of Villain are being shot in Goa and Thailand. Basically young and lively places have been chosen for this youthful couple.
It’s not just Sidharth, the Kapoor kid looked resplendent as ever, with Aditya Roy Kapur as well. They were intense and passionate, just the way they were supposed to be in Aashiqui 2. Shraddha garnished her character with the perfect amount of drama and innocence.
Taking a plunge from this naïve chick in A2, Kapoor was seen as a serious and ‘confused in love’ gal in Gori Tere Pyar Mein. There was something very ‘cool’ about her and Imran Khan’s pairing in the film. In fact they should be repeated again, in some other movie. The two make the perfect recipe for a fun and light-hearted rom-com.
And I stick to what I said, there’s something about Ms Kapoor, she complements all her heroes…But what is it?
