What’s with Alia and Randeep’s off screen love life?
Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda will very soon be seen in Highway together, directed by Imtiaz Ali.
While Randeep plays the cruel kidnapper in the film, Alia steps into the shoes of the girl whose being held hostage. And whether love blossoms between the two or no, that’s yet to be seen.
But what’s with their off screen love life?
If I have to go by spicy rumours, Ms Bhatt and her Student of the year co-star Varun Dhawan are quite an item. But the two don’t seem to be interested in spilling the beans anytime soon. Looks like they are enjoying all the ‘mystery and drama’ surrounding their love cocoon. When we recently asked Alia what are the qualities she wants in her dream man, this is what she had to say. “I don’t exactly have a huge criteria list or anything. He should be humble, be passionate about his work and have a sense of humour. And most importantly he should be extremely chivalrous,” she said.
While Alia is pretty clear in her head, Randeep seemed to be shying away from answering love questions.
When asked if his love life is going on the right track, he simply shot a blank expression and muttered, “You should rather ask me the brand of liquor I prefer when I go to parties, I swear I’ll do justice to that question.” Of course, the press didn’t let him go that easily, and kept pestering him to disclose his relationship status. But Randeep ‘the rigid’ Hooda wouldn’t budge, and with a naughty glint in his eye, he simply asked one of the journos sitting out there if she’s single. Now that mortified her, made her blush, thus putting an end to our nagging session.
Hooda was seeing Neetu Chandra at one point, but the relationship turned sour sooner than we could imagine. There were also tongues wagging about Randeep and Aditi Rao Hydari, but our super sleuths are yet to confirm the authenticity of the news.
Well whatever the status is, we wish Alia a ‘happy and lovey-dovey’ Valentine’s Day with Mr Dhawan and Hooda can continue flirting and faffing, until he finds his dream gal of course!
