Awkward poses, good poses, best model-like figures, camera friendly faces, glitz and glamour, designer ensembles – yes, all this would describe an award function the best. And nowadays, to add up to all that la-di-da-ness, we also have nomination parties. Well, one more reason for celebs to raise a toast to the success of each other’s films.

Deepika Padukone: The babe definitely knows how to add the much needed tadka to her casual body-hugging dress. She teams her dress with a pretty statement necklace.
Shruti Haasan: Even though the shiny Namrata Joshipura pant suit looks quite chic, I think she could have done away with the fishtail braid and opted for a high messy pony-tail. The hairdo is a style dampener.
Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt: The babe appeared in a bright Alexander McQueen gown along with Arjun Kapoor. Not very flamboyant, not very casual either, Bhatt kinda pulled off the ‘in-between’ style pretty well.
Vaani Kapoor: Vaani was seen in a shimmery strapless dress. She hardly ever makes a faux pas, so not surprised to see her in this cool look.
Ranveer Singh: Ranveer tends to go all wild and funky with his style choices. Don’t know if conventional fashion lovers will like what he’s wearing, but I kinda don’t feel like dismissing his geometric printed suit. It’s fun!
Kalki Koechlin: The babe looks like a vision in the flowy black gown. But the make-up is too thanda, it’s ruining the whole glam look.
Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem: Huma entered the venue with her brother as her arm candy. I like Huma’s fashion spirit. She doesn’t restrict herself despite being on the plump side. The Shivan and Naresh number is bold; Qureshi has nailed it and how!
Sonam Kapoor: SK walked in with Dhanush. In anAnushka Khanna gown, she glittered like a star. But then she’s an expert when it comes to ‘all things fashion’, so not surprised!
Shahzahn Padamsee: The babe opted for a strapless white gown. Nothing that would make my jaws drop out of admiration…
Shraddha Kapoor: The Kapoor chick kept it interesting in an asymmetrical hemmed gown. The design is interesting, but the pastel colour is BORING…
Madhuri Dixit Nene: The Gulaab Gang actor kept it gulaabi for the event as well. Wish she had opted for a silver or a gold coloured blouse; she would have looked like a million bucks.
Nimrat Kaur: The Luncbox babe opted for an Anand Kabra gown. Even though the design is super chic, it’s somehow not suiting her body structure. There’s something majorly amiss!
