Statue of Katrina Kaif at Madame Tussauds! This time famouse museum Madame Tussauds has decided to put up a wax statue of Katrina Kaif! May be it can act!
Making statues of famous people has been a trend worldwide and their followers have always made sure that they pay respect and dues to their idols.
However, Madame Tussauds in London is a famous museum dedicated to making wax-statues of famous celebrities from across the globe. They cover people from all walks of life, be they from sports, politics or entertainment.
It is definitely a commendable job to see David Beckham’s wax statue under the same roof which also has Queen Elizabeth’s statue; or having Michael Jackson’s statue near our very own Amitabh Bachchan’s statue.
However, after giving respect to various celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan etc, now the museum is just about to do something funny or stupid. May be because they are not well informed or well-advised!
This time they have decided to put up a wax statue of Katrina Kaif!
Yes, our jaws also dropped and eye bulged out in shock, just like yours are right now!

Okay now, the first question is, has it ever happened that a statue of a statue is ever made anywhere in the world?
We don’t think so!
It sure will be a first for even Madame Tussauds loyal admirers to see this novelty. How else can they explain choosing Katrina? She is a Bollywood actress for sure, but if they would have just given a little more thought to detail and checked out her acting capabilities and her work as an actress, it would have probably dawned on them that she has been nothing more than a showpiece in every movie of hers.
Just like a walking-talking mannequin! Ok, to be fair to her, she can dance as well!
In fact, where were the museum guys when Kat was still in the UK, well before Bollywood happened to her?
The girl works as a model in the UK, then comes to India, gets famous and then her popularity is being en-cashed by making her statue in UK itself!
Wow! Smart business policy, huh!
We think, for museum guys to make more money out of this venture, they should hire Katrina herself. She can stand there in the museum behind the sign of touch-me-not and people will pay truckloads of money. She is a better statue than any of her wax or otherwise statues combined together can be, ever! If you have any doubts, check out any of her movies and you will get your answers.
Well, now that the obvious is inevitable, let’s at least hope that they dress up the Wax-Kat in her ‘Sheila ki Jawani’ attire. She looked hot in it, right?
