Indian mythology gives a wide scope of experimenting with respect to graphic novels. Graphic novels by Saraswati Nagpal about Sita and Draupadi, on Hanuman adapted by Shyam Prakash from the original text of Tulsidas, etc. had been making the rounds.
But this one stands out as it has the King Khan himself playing the titular role in the novel. The novel’s teaser was out and fans went crazy urging the superstar to consider the option of filming this novel.
The CG-VFX of this teaser is without doubt mind blowing. SRK’s animated avatar all decked with armor and weapons are simply brilliant. The shots in the teaser have a perfect blend of fire and bluish tinge adding the classy effect.
The music of the teaser also blends with the visuals.
This graphic novel project aims to showcase the lone journey of King Atharva.
We have seen SRK and his VFX connections in Ra One. Although the film’s story line was highly criticized, the film gained a lot of appreciation for the special effects.
I don’t know the adaptation of this novel into a film is a very good idea at this stage. The audience would definitely not like to experience something on the lines of Ra One.
With Happy New Year the story line of SRK’s movies is really making even his fans irritated.
So it is a better option to browse through the novel first once it’s released and then may be Red Chillies should consider the option of producing the film.
But as no details are officially out on the movie version, we fans are eagerly waiting for the novel to be out soon.
