How Sonakshi Sinha has been looking the same in all her movies
We know she’s the daughter of Shotgun Shatrughan Sinha but doesn’t mean she has to only do such ‘tough looking’ roles. Her last few movies, in fact most of them have Sonakshi playing the love interest to our rowdy actors. Be it Lajjo opposite Chulbul Salman Khan in both Dabangg and Dabangg 2 or Paro in Rowdy Rathore and even in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara, Sonakshi is known to be the first choice for such movies.
My only concern is, why is she repeating her roles? Every role she does resembles the other leaving no option to differentiate. You could just copy paste one of her characters to the other movie and no one will come to know the difference. You could play ‘spot the difference’ with her characters and you wouldn’t be able to point out one single difference!
Her latest releases include Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullet Raja and Prabhudeva’s R…Rajkumar. What is so different about her roles in both the movies? The only movie that showed off Sonakshi’s acting skills was Lootera in which she did a splendid job. So why not more of those and less of Rowdys and Rambos?
Coming from a filmy household Sonakshi is expected to show her acting prowess in movies and her choices seem to go from bad to worse. Doing similar roles isn’t a crime but doing it repeatedly just seems to be the worst choice. As a naive actor, new to this acting world I expect Sonakshi to take up challenges and do various kind of roles and not stick to be the girlfriend of the macho men. Her work in Lootera showed her capability and if she tried a bit hard she could probably be the next Hema Malini. Considering the size of her forehead she’s already half there!
