Sometime back we reported the amazing news that he as courteously greeted by Kareena Kapoor Khan at an award ceremony. The punch is that Kareena walked through him in the last seven years since their break up. However, finally she acknowledged him and even went a mile ahead in praising his job as an anchor of the awards show. Now now!!
That seems to have lit up the Kapur guy and he was seen shopping around Mumbai for an apartment. Earlier, he used to put up in a flat on the same premises as that of Priyanka Chopra. However, now his Kismet Konnection with Vidya Balan might have come back and he has ended up lapping up a flat in Praneta wherein Vidya too puts up along with hubby Siddharth Roy Kapoor.
It is said that the two were even in a short relationship that failed to take off. Now whether this was only a pre-Kismet Konnection release buzz or not, that is a matter best left to them. We did hear stories of their growing friendship and then suddenly the rumor mills stopped buzzing. Vidya has had her own share of issues and problems from link ups to weight drama. However, she married her UTV king hubby well on time and now leads another kind of a life.
As for Shahid’s new property deal, we barely know if the actor has procured the same for investment sake or he indeed wishes to move in. If so, he could have loads of gupshup to do with the Balan babe as a neighbor. The two never really had anything serious enough to put a lid on any interactions, let us remind you.
Vidya Balan could not be reached on the same while Shahid’s manager nodded a confirmation to the flat buy out. What is interesting is that Shahid is taking sudden decisions these days and is seen enjoying being on his own feet with a career to focus on.
With his upcoming release Haider already receiving accolades for the script, his look and the package, we hope this brings in mighty great luck for him. Also, there have been internal stories circulating on how Kapur wants to play an edgy and totally dark role in Kaminey’s sequel. Yes, you read that right. Vishal Bhradwaj is planning Maha Kaminey and the director-actor duo are in talks with the role being completely off-hand and villainous to the core.
While Shahid has hit bull’s eye with Kaminey, we have not yet seen him in a totally dark avatar. However, we do hope that this happens and that he strikes box office gold. After all, the boy has the makings of a super star in the years to come. For now, let him bask in the sea view from his Praneta flat. We love you Shahid!
