Smart that the media is, it quizzed him if he points at possible marriage with his current flame sometime soon. However, the clever chap that Ranveer is, he nudged off the question. Still, he admits that he enjoys the company of vivacious Deepika and that he is indeed very close to the Southern Siren who has swept B-town off its feet!
The latest project he has signed on is Bajirao Mastani. And his look in the film is hogging all the limelight even before it has materialized. The planned look will see Ranveer going bald with a mere Mohawk like shikha! And the bigger surprise is that Ranveer has no qualms about donning the risky look. The decision to bind himself to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus until November has raised many eyebrows and caused creases in his position.
By this, one points to Ranveer upsetting Karan Johar from refusing Shuddhi! Ranveer believes that these things were part of his trade and that there is no issue with Johar in this context. He adds that Johar is an industry pundit and barely bases judgments on such actions.
He adds that Bajirao Mastani is a risk worth taking since he would like to see himself in history instead of merely churning box office returns. Of course, he says that he will love to be Dharma Productions hero very soon. Having found fame with Yash Raj Films, he can barely dare to irk Dharma.
