The Balika Vadhu babe was shown the exit door in this week’s elimination episode. She was nominated along with Tanisha Mukherjee, Gauhar Khan, Ajaz Khan and Kamya Punjabi. The babe was seen weeping like crazy while making her way out of the house. And of course the host Salman Khan had to make it all the more difficult for the emotional chick by creating an aura of suspense around the whole elimination process. He initially named Kamya Punjabi as the evictee, and as soon as he said that, you could hear Pratyusha – a die-hard Kamya follower – whaling and howling like a kid…err…wait, did we say kid? Totally forgot that the babe hates that word. Talking about calling her a kid, the actor had a tough time dealing with the contestants taking a dig at her every once in a while. She was given sobriquets like ‘bacchi’ and ‘gudiya’ because of her immature behaviour on the show.
What’s funny is that the babe was chosen to step into the shoes of the captain this week. She was competing against Andy for the position and ended up winning the maximum number of votes. Tanisha was all praises for the Bong babe. She said that since she liked Pratyusha’s chilled out temperament in the house this week, she thought Ms Banerjee would be perfect for playing the role of a leader.
Salman has always referred to her as the gullible kind who is unable to take her own decisions and some of the contestants thought that she was nothing but a cry baby who loved to indulge in unnecessary arguments. The 22-year-old will finally get to taste freedom and enjoy the rest of the show from her home sweet home. Until then let’s see who trails behind Pratyusha in the next elimination episode…!
