Ranbir Kapoor flirted around with Madhuri Dixit unabashedly, even though for a couple of minutes, in Ghagra from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Honestly it’s no big deal; in fact such a pairing gives a very fresh perspective to the onscreen relationship. The mature gal dealing with the immature man, doling out pearls of wisdom about life, making him learn a thing or two about the real world- now that’s interesting.
If filmmakers had to opt for more such pairs, who would look good with whom? Well, here are a couple of options.
Chitrangda Singh and Ranbir Kapoor: Ranbir’s footloose and fancy free demeanour and Singh’s hot personality will work wonders for the film. The two have that special x factor. The Kapoor kid can try wooing the much older Chitranga in the film, trying to win her heart and all. If you jog your memory, he has romanced the much older konkana in Wake up Sid with super conviction.
Preity Zinta and Ranveer Singh: PZ’s effervescence teamed with Singh’s dynamic energy will be lethal. The two, I think will be a riot together. It’s such a normal thing for guys these days to date older women. Ranveer and PZ can totally pull off the special chemistry without making it look tacky.
Rani Mukerji and Sidharth Malhotra: They both will make an intense pair. If someone plans to make a serious film, with a much sorted woman falling in love with an un-sorted guy being the demand of the script, these two will fit the role to a T.
Sushmita Sen and Arunoday Singh: These two are going to make an out-and-out glamorous pair. Sush and Singh are two helluva good looking people. A role with substance and a meaty character is what they will require to pull off an ‘old guy falling head over heels with a much older gal’ kind of a relationship…
