This song is a way different than the other item songs. Yes it is a raunchy number but the take is a little different.
The approach of being raunchy is rather chivalrous in this video than just a direct implication.

The Hinglish version of seducing but with respect is something very different in this item number.
This concept had been explored in the famous Enrique Iglesias song, ‘please excuse me I don’t wanna be rude but tonight I am fu**ing you.’
So the concept of directly hitting on a woman playing the card of chivalry by calling it an act of respect is something that is very unique about such songs. Of course the word ‘madamiyan’ is quite funny…sounds like ‘bademiyan’, ‘chotemiyan’.
Lyricist Kausar Munir keeping the correct mix of Hindi and English somehow hammered the slang. Not very quirky mix to be seen.
Even the music by Sajid Wajid is not very uniquely striking. The target audience would be the Sec C. The concept of this item song could have been explored more and with Shruti Haasan it could have catered to even the classy mass.
Nonetheless the approach of this item song is quite unique. It is more about the girl’s perspective. The video starts with the line, ‘every girl deserves a mad lover’. The sexy side of a woman hidden in each girl is explored in this video.
Generally we see the songs where the girls crave for lust, as in the song – Aa re pritam pyare.
But here the mad side of the lover boy is shown.
Shruti Haasan without doubt looks amazing in this video and the red costume also spices up the entire video. Arjun Kapoor wears the cap of the mad lover boy dancing with her.
The entire setting is very dinchank glittery that goes with the feel of the song. The choreography especially the step where they tangle the legs and jump like puppets looks very stupid.
The best part about this song is the camera angles. The cinematographer unlike other raunchy videos have mostly maintained shots to mid and long shots. Close up shots of the assets are hugely avoided.
Overall the song is a good and unique blend of lust and respect with Shruti haasan looking absolutely stunning but the music and lyrics could have been composed better.
