That’s what it looks like in the first look poster of her new film Gulaab Gang. The usually smiling and happy actor is seen bristling with rage in the movie. That fiery attitude, that Durga-maa-like pose, looks like we will get to see Mads in an out-and-out different avatar in the film.
Dixit has done roles before that has bought her aggressive side to the fore onscreen. Remember Anjaam in which she’s hell-bent on taking revenge for her husband’s death in the film. Her hatred for Shahrukh Khan, who played the villain, seemed so real. She also played a very strong character in Lajja, a woman who doesn’t care much about the norms created by the society.
After a long time the actor will be seen doing a hardcore woman-oriented flick. Gulaab Gang will be releasing on March 8, on Women’s Day. Madhuri has apparently done a lot of action scenes in the film. From hanging on harnesses to kicking the hell out of her detractors, she will be seen fighting for injustice against women with her pink saree-clad entourage.
Directed by Soumik Sen, the film also stars Juhi Chawla who is the antagonist in the film. Even Mahie Gill and Shilpa Shukla will be seen in significant roles.
