We talk about Katrina Kaif’s unusal pairing with Aditya Roy Kapoor in Fitoor. Will the chemistry work or the age difference ruin the experience?
Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor being the hottest love-birds is not even news anymore.
It is a different matter that only recently the latest rumours about their alleged engagement were trashed by their supposed so-called spokesperson.
The interesting twist in the tale is that there is another Kapoor from the film industry who is vying for Kat’s attention and she is also enjoying playing around with him!
Totally shocked, right?
Well, calm down and let’s tell you that the lovely Katrina is not a lady of loose character and her love for Ranbir Kapoor is as pure as it gets.
However, the other Kapoor we are talking about is none other than the latest hot dude to take Bollywood by storm, Aditya Roy Kapoor!
Yes, but it is only for a movie in which both Kat and Aditya are cast opposite each other which is a hard core romance saga involving love and betrayal.
The movie is titled Fitoor and you will get to see this new and refreshing pair in theatres near you, sometime this year.
It is definitely exciting to see such unusual pairing, but will this work? The fact is Kat is older to him by two years. You might discard the age difference, but in terms of cinematic experience, Kat is way senior to the handsome hunk. In that sense, the seniority might come across on screen. Also, Katrina isn’t known for great acting prowess while Aditya has proved that he is definitely a decent actor if not a great one. So can it be the case of casting based just on looks and putting two visually appealing actors together to make it the USP of the film?
They are going to scorch the screens with their scintillating chemistry; that much is for sure. And when you have the film’s director as someone like Abhishek Kapoor, who has directed jewels like Kai Po Che and Rock On you can safely say that he might get both of them even perform as per the expectations.
The fact that even legendary Rekha is also a part of this project speaks volumes about it.
Is there a reason for Ranbir to be insecure given Kat’s onscreen-proximity to another Kapoor? May be, may be not! We are sure hoping that Katrina has chosen Ranbir for his persona and qualities other than a surname. So what if such a surname has been ruling Bollywood for four generations!
Looking forward to the refreshing chemistry between Aditya and Kat and hope they do justice to their roles and give their fans total entertainment. As far as a Kapoor is concerned, let it play its role in real life and be away from the reel life!
