The two have been bonding big time lately. While Salman has been promoting Aamir’s movies, the Dhoom:3 actor has been equally enthusiastic about creating the much needed noise about Sallu’s ventures. These two Khans seemed to have formed a comfortable and cosy mutual admiration society and they are more than happy to be in this space.
But for some reason I sense some sort of trouble brewing between the two again. Recently Aamir expressed his displeasure about Sanjay Dutt being granted parole every now and then. He was heard saying that nobody is above the law and if anybody in the system is responsible for giving preferential treatment to Sanju, then that person should be immediately removed.
I wonder how Aamir’s straight-forward opinions will go with the sensitive Salman. We all know that Sanju and Salman are such thick friends. I can already see Salman taking great umbrage over this thing. But Aamir has always spoken his mind and stood for what is right, and I doubt if he is ever going to be apologetic about what he said and rescind his statement.
Does that mean there’s going to be a dhamakedaar rift between the two Khans again? The duo stopped being in touch after shooting for Andaz Apna Apna in the ‘90s. They weren’t particularly fond of each other, I hear. But situations changed, tables turned and the two became thick buddies again at a much later stage.
I guess we will have to wait until we hear anything about Salman reacting to Aamir’s statement. Maybe then we will get a fair idea about the whole situation…
