Now the story is that Kat and Alia Bhatt were being considered for the project, but epiphany moment arrived and the filmmaker realised nothing can beat the Ranbir-Deepika pairing.
Now that you think of it, the Kapoor kid and Padukone giving their nod to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was a good career decision after all. Leaving all the bitterness behind, these two ambitious actors went on to share screen space with each other for the sake of their careers. And it has done them some real good. The chemistry struck gold at the BO and filmmakers realised these two talented stars can be used as cash cows for their movies, after all there’s no denying that they look fab together.
So Dips has replaced Ranboo’s current sweetheart Kaif and secured a firm position in Ali’s next film. In fact, you can also call the Rockstar director a li’l biased. After working on Cocktail and Love Aaj Kal with DP, it’s pretty obvious that his first choice will be Ms sexy Padukone.
The duo will start shooting next year. Until then we will have to wait to discover what Window Seat is all about. Quite an unusual title by the way… intrigues me totally!
