Yet another youthful, fun and mad film by the Dharma makers. Directed by Vinil Mathew, the film is also produced by Phantom films. Now what’s surprising as Phantom has only churned out serious movies till now…case in point: Lootera, Ugly etc. Looks like the Phantom honchos are testing the waters to see if they can do justice to light-hearted films as well.
While Parineeti has as always been a delight to watch because of her part goofy-part fun way of emoting on screen, Sidharth is not bad himself. He is finally out of that ‘I am a stud’ from Student of the year mode, and is seen in a guy-next-door avatar in this one.
Malhotra seems to be stuck in a messy situation because of Parineeti’s ‘I love inviting trouble’ way of life. Suddenly conjures up flashes of Jab We Met in which poor Shahid had to bear the brunt of Bebo’s crazy antics. But this film is mad in a different way and I am in love with the Chopra chick’s bindaas body language. And here’s another crazy bit, Parineeti has a habit of eating toothpaste in the film. Now if you find that piece of info mad enough… go ahead and have a look at the promo.
