Yes, we said “darling of the masses” because it is due to her gorgeous earthly rustic looks that she got so much of love and popularity. She is a typical voluptuous, exotic Indian beauty seen on screen after years. Before her arrival, most girls were trying to just look thin even at the cost of looking anorexic. But she came and conquered the tinsel town with her curvaceous body and wasn’t apologetic about her weight-issues. She carried and still carries herself with aplomb!
Being the youngest child of Shotgun Shatrughan Sinha, she was never interested in acting and use to work back-stage. For her launch vehicle, Salman Khan’s Dabangg, she lost 30kgs to fit in the role of an Indian woman which suited her so perfectly. But then, she made it her mantra that acting is important, looks are secondary. On another note, we wonder if she has given any substantial acting performance till date except in Dabangg and to some extent in Lootera! Guess, she also noticed that to keep running her acting-shop, looks will have to be worked on. That’s why she has put in her best efforts to tone herself down and become fit and sexy for her next assignments, latest being Holiday with Akshay Kumar!
Her hard-work is there to see for all. The jokes doing the rounds are that she has turned from a fat cow to a sexy cat! Well, would this cat do a meow or will it roar like her dad, only time will tell. For now, we are super happy and excited to see the gorgeous sexy Sonakshi in her new Avatar with a new tattoo as well.
Yeah, she just displayed the new “star” tattoo she made on her collar bone for her fans on twitter. Must say, she is getting more stylish, more of a fashionista and much cooler with time. With loss in weight, even though her broad-bone structure may never make her look those petite-thin types, she is really looking younger day by day. If the trend continues, who knows one day she might act in a movie opposite Shah Rukh Khan’s youngest son, AbRam!
Okay, the intention wasn’t to give any of you heart-attacks but just a smile! A smile as sweet as Sonakshi’s! After all, her smile is something that makes us forget all her flaws as an actor or a celebrity and brings out our un-adulated love for her.
