Yeah it’s the only Maa we all filmy buffs love from all our heart and soul, after loving our natural mothers! To add some spicy rustic fun along with sincere emotions and message of love, another avatar of cinema is coming to theatres near you in less than a week from now. Its name is Filmistaan!
This is one movie which has won hearts all over the world, winning numerous awards at some of the prestigious film festivals in different countries. To top it all, it has also won our very own, the most coveted, National Award for the Best Hindi Film in year 2013!
After touring the world and wow-ing the audiences all across the globe, this gem is coming to entertain us all. The trailers are doing the round for a few weeks now and some selected few have even been able to watch the movie before its release. The most special of them all, the Baap of all actors, Amitabh Bachchan spared some time and saw this flick. So impressed was he with the film that he took to twitter to appreciate it. He posted,”Filmistaan, the film on release! Cinema in its bountiful glory! Just saw it, films bind, they do not divide. Love is power.” Such powerful words from Big B mean only one thing, this movie is really WOW!!
To get to read such a fine review from one’s idol, we are sure for the film’s lead actor, Sharib Hashmi, it would be akin to be on cloud nine! The trailer of the movie shows him as this film-crazy fanatic who by mistake crosses the border and is caught by Pakistanis. Then what happens, well, that is what you guys need to go and watch. The movie is all fun. Sharib himself comes across as a film buff considering he started his career as a writer with famous TV show MTV Bakra and then slowly progressed towards being an actor. He made an appearance with SRK in Yash Chopra’s last venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan. With cine-maa’s blood running in his veins, we sure feel he is going to be one fine entertainer!!
After a long time there will be a film where the hero won’t be having six-packed abs or gorgeous babes running around in handkerchief-sized clothes! All that is promised to us for this movie, via trailers are some amazing moments and a lot of fun packed in GOOD CINEMA! For a change, we really don’t mind a no-skin-show as we are promised a story and that’s what we all seek when we enter the darkness of a theatre, to be able to relate and feel our emotions in touch with what’s being shown on screen.
We hope the movie delivers on its promises. After all, not everyday we are excited about a movie that looks like a genuine entertainer!
